Please enter through our main entrance and register your vehicles at the Welcome Center. The main entrance will be the only accessible gate during your visit. Please check your email for your campus gate code which will only work on the main entrance gates.

Once your vehicle is registered, please check in at the Camp Office in the Sports Complex:

For a quicker check-in process, please ensure each family member completes our digital liability waiver to receive their Family Camp Wristband. Minors must be included on a guardian waiver—please note that we cannot welcome unaccompanied minors during Family Camp. Camp wristbands must be worn at all times. If a wristband breaks during Family Camp, please bring it to the Camp Office for a free replacement. Lost wristbands cost $10 to replace.

The Sports Complex opens Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11:30 AM.

Standard hours are 11:30 AM–5:00 PM, after Camp Meeting–11:00 PM.*

*Please note that the Sports Complex is closed on Sunday, during Tuesday’s Western Day and Friday’s Lakeday. Friday’s open hours are extended to 12 Midnight.

Sports Complex Rules:

• Please respect Sports Complex Hosts and other guests.
• Return all sports equipment/games to the appropriate places and pick up trash.
• All children ages eight and under must be accompanied by an adult.
• No climbing/hanging on sports equipment, pods, or restricted areas.
• No frisbees, wheels (besides strollers), additional sports equipment, or guest music may be brought into the Sports Complex.
• Please respect the dress code: Loose-fitting clothing that covers the full torso and thighs, even during active play. No sleeveless tops, spandex, or other fitted clothing. Shoes must be worn at all times.

The Ponderosa Press opens Saturday, October 5 at 1:00 PM with delicious coffee, snacks, and epic Family Camp Tees.

As you prepare for camp, check out our Adventure Packing List, compiled from the experienced lists of other veteran Family Campers.

Please keep in mind that appropriate Family Camp attire is loose-fitting clothing that covers the full torso and thighs, even during active play. No sleeveless tops, spandex, or other fitted clothing are allowed. (Shoes also must be worn when in buildings, and we reserve the right to deny participation in any activity if we deem a participant’s attire unsuitable.)

We care about the safety of all drivers, bikers, and pedestrians on campus. All golf carts and side-by-sides must be operated by those ages 16+. These vehicles should be treated like cars and follow all posted speed limits and other road signs. No motorcycles, four-wheelers, or dirt bikes are allowed before, after, or during Family Camp.

Please keep bikes on the sidewalks whenever possible. (Our motto is—two wheels on the sidewalk and four wheels on the road!) Unfortunately, we do not have Bike or Golf Cart Rentals available on campus, but you’re welcome to bring your own or rent them elsewhere! (If you rented a golf cart, it will be available to pick up at the Welcome Center entrance.)

Our campus continues to do business with the public throughout the week of Family Camp. Please remember that you are responsible for keeping track of family members and ensuring your children are always accompanied by a trusted adult. We want your family to stay safe!

To add meals to your account, call us at 903-636-9201. During Family Camp, please purchase meals at the Camp Office instead of requesting meals at the food line. For the best pricing, please make your reservations at least 4 hours before the meal.

The serving lines will be open for 45 minutes, so please arrive as soon as possible. Your nametags will be your meal tickets.
